Senior Account Executive
Literably is a growing education technology company that provides literacy assessment software to K8 schools. On Literably, students complete authentic tasks (e.g. reading aloud) to demonstrate their literacy skills, and Literably generates insights to drive critical instructional decisions for young readers. Literably’s approach saves teachers and administrators enormous amounts of time relative to competitor solutions that are mostly pen and paper. We currently serve hundreds of thousands of students across the country, and our customers include several of America’s largest school districts.
About the role:
Literably is looking for a strong salesperson with an excellent track record selling to K12 school district leaders. As a Senior Account Executive at Literably, you will build relationships with school district leaders and form new partnerships with school districts.
This is a 100% remote, full-time role. We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
What You’ll Do:
Work proactively, creatively, and diligently to form new relationships with school district leaders.
Work closely with our CEO, VP Customer Success, and Junior Account Executive to improve our sales processes and playbooks and achieve growth milestones.
Document and share prospect feedback with the team, especially our VP Engineering, to inform product direction.
Who You Are:
Proven track record of success selling into K12 school districts
Strong sense of accountability and responsibility
Experience sourcing leads, qualifying leads, building funnel, managing accounts, negotiating terms, and closing
Comfortable maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, and using data to drive decision-making.
Hyper-fluent with technology, including conducting sales calls and demos via Zoom
Bonus Points (nice to have, but not required):
Experience selling K5 English Language Arts solutions to U.S. school district leaders
Passion for education, elementary literacy and data
Salesforce, HubSpot and sales operations knowledge
